Privacy Policy

Welcome to Project Go. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy or our practices with regard to your personal information, please contact us at info@project-go.com.

This privacy policy describes how we might use, process, and manage the information we collect through your use of our website project-go.app. It also explains your rights regarding your personal information that we collect.

About Project Go

Project Go is a comprehensive church management platform designed to help religious organizations streamline their operations, manage member information, coordinate events, and organize church-related files and documents.

Church Files

Project Go Hub keeps each church's files in its own secure file library on our cloud storage provider. Files are private to the church: only signed-in people with access can open them, through short-lived links. The file library allows users to:

  • Upload and organize church documents (bulletins, newsletters, ministry reports)
  • Store and manage media files (sermon recordings, event photos, presentation slides)
  • Share resources among church staff and ministry teams
  • Maintain a centralized repository for all church-related files

Google Drive (Retired)

Earlier versions of Project Go Hub offered an optional Google Drive connection. It used the drive.file permission, which covers only the files and folders the app created or that you opened with it. This connection is no longer offered. For a church that connected Google Drive before, we may copy the files in its Project Go Hub folder in Google Drive into its file library one time, so that nothing is lost. Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides are saved as PDF copies. We never change or delete anything in your Google Drive.

Google User Data Retention and Deletion

Data Retention: For a church that connected Google Drive before, we keep only what the one-time copy needs:

  • Access Token: The church's Google Drive access token, stored securely
  • Folder Reference: The ID of the church's Project Go Hub folder in Google Drive
  • Copied Files: Copies are kept in your church's file library until an administrator deletes them

Data Deletion: You stay in control of your Google data:

  • Remove Our Access: You can remove Project Go Hub's access to your Google Drive at any time in your Google Account settings
  • On-Demand Deletion: You can ask us to delete the stored token and folder reference by contacting us at info@project-go.com
  • Account Deletion: If you delete your Project Go account, all associated Google Drive integration data is permanently deleted within 30 days

Third-Party Access: We do not sell or share Google user data. It is used only to make the copy for your church.
